Posted Date: 10/26/26 (01:24 PM)
JCECHS is hosting a Dress-Up Week to bring festive spirit to campus. As students plan their costumes, school administration has released safety and dress code guidelines to ensure a secure and orderly environment:

- No masks: Staff members must be able to easily identify students at all times.
- Appropriate attire: Costumes that are provocative, revealing, sexual in nature, or employ questionable props are strictly prohibited.
- No violence or substances: Costumes depicting violence, alcohol, or drugs are not allowed.
- No weapons: Fake weapons of any kind are banned.
- Respectful representation: Costumes must not be offensive or perpetuate stereotypes of any culture, gender, heritage, or religion.
- Safety and accessibility: Costumes must not hinder classroom participation, impede hallway traffic, or present safety hazards.
Students wearing questionable costumes will be asked to change into standard school attire and will face administrative consequences. Have fun and stay respectful!
