JIMMY CARTER EARLY COLLEGE HS

Dual Credit Support

A Partnership for Student Success

At Jimmy Carter Early College High School, we’re proud to partner with South Texas College (STC) to give you a head start on your college journey. Through STC’s nationally recognized Dual Credit Programs, you can take tuition-free college courses while you’re still in high school—earning credits that count toward certificates, associate degrees, or even transfer to a four-year university.

As a dual-credit Carter student, you also get access to STC’s full range of support services—including advising, tutoring, and library resources—so you’re set up to succeed. Our partnership is here to help you save time, save money, and graduate high school with a clear plan for your future.

Centers for Learning Excellence (CLE) at South Texas College offers in-person tutoring at all campuses and 24/7 online tutoring for dual-credit students.
