SENIORS: APPLYTEXAS COLLEGE APPLICATION REQUIRED FOR GRADUATION! 🎓

Don't wait! Start as soon as possible! Seniors must complete at least one college application through ApplyTexas for Fall 2027. This is a required step for graduation!

The time to apply to college is now! Every JCECHS senior must submit at least one college application through ApplyTexas. This is a graduation requirement. We suggest students apply to three or more colleges. This helps them keep their choices open. Some examples are UTRGV, South Texas College (STC), and Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Students can also apply to other colleges that match their goals. Students can apply to 10 or more schools if they want!

START AS SOON AS POSSIBLE:
1 Go to ApplyTexas and create your account. Use a personal email address. Link: https://www.applytexas.org/

2 Search for your colleges. Start your applications.

3 Complete and submit at least one application.

Representatives from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) and South Texas College (STC) will be on campus soon. They will help seniors with their applications. We will also announce after-school and Saturday ApplyTexas help sessions soon. These sessions will provide more support. They will also make sure every senior meets this required graduation step.
