Our JCECHS “Cyber Techies” were named “State Finalists” in Samsung’s Solve for Tomorrow National STEM competition! There were over 1,000 submissions from every state and only 300 finalists were selected in the U.S. They have secured a $2,500 check for classroom technology & supplies, and will be advancing to Phase 2 in the competition, where they can become state winners and earn $12,000. The Cyber Techies are developing a hot car “smart sensor,” which will be sitting just under the fabric of car seats, to detect a child’s body heat. The Cyber Techies are led by their Sponsor, Ms. A.
