Hello Jimmy Carter community,
I want to take a moment to reflect on the progress we’ve made so far and share my vision for the months ahead.
First and foremost, our collective goal remains centered on ensuring that we are preparing our students for college and a career. Whether they’re striving to improve academically, socially, or personally, we are committed to providing the resources, support, and encouragement they need to succeed. I urge every student to set clear goals for the second semester and take advantage of the many opportunities available, including tutoring, enrichment programs, and leadership initiatives. Remember, learning doesn’t stop in the classroom—it’s a journey that continues every day!
Equally important is the strength of our school community. Together, we create an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported. This semester, we’ll focus on deepening connections between students, families, and staff. We invite parents to engage with us so we can work together and continue to strengthen our school community. Strong partnerships are the foundation of a thriving school, and parental involvement makes a lasting impact.
Thank you for your dedication to our students’ success and for being an integral part of our school family. Let’s make this semester one of growth, accomplishment, and community. Together, we can achieve great things!
At Jimmy Carter Early College High School our students have P.R.I.D.E.…Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Discipline, and Excellence!
Respectfully,
Dr. Luis C. Bocanegra- Principal
