Jimmy Carter Early College High School

School Board Vice President Anita Chavez visited Jimmy Carter Early College High School to engage with student leaders and learn about the school’s dynamic extracurricular offerings. During her visit, Chavez toured the campus and met with student representatives from various clubs, including the National Honor Society, FBLA, BETA Club and Student Council. These students shared their accomplishments, such as community service projects, state-level competitions, and initiatives aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion. Chavez praised their leadership and commitment to both academic and community excellence, highlighting the importance of providing opportunities for students to grow as leaders.
