National STEM Day is a time to recognize and celebrate the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in education and our everyday lives. At Jimmy Carter Early College High School, Ms. Charles’ class took the opportunity to dive into the excitement of STEM by engaging in a hands-on lab activity.
The students collaborated in groups to explore real-world applications of STEM concepts, fostering critical thinking and teamwork. Under Ms. Charles' guidance, they conducted experiments designed to highlight principles in physics and chemistry, capturing the spirit of STEM Day. Each student played a role in the lab, gaining valuable experience and confidence in their skills. The celebration was a great success, inspiring students to continue exploring STEM pathways and the possibilities they offer.
