College Signing Day at La Joya ISD!
Big congratulations to Mateo Garcia from La Joya Palmview High School, who has officially signed a full-ride scholarship with Odessa College (Wranglers) to play baseball at the collegiate level!
Mateo has made an incredible impact on and off the field: 4X District Champion, 9th Grade: 30-5A Newcomer of the Year, 10th Grade: 30-5A Offensive Player of the Year & All-Valley Pitcher of the Year, 11th Grade: 30-5A Most Valuable Player & All-Valley Pitcher of the Year and Multi-year All-State Selection. He plans to major in Sports Medicine, continuing his journey of athletic and academic excellence.
